The 31st Annual Maryland 4-H Golf Tournament, in honor of Marlin K. Hoff, is right around the corner! Scheduled for Monday, June 4, 2012 it is surely an event you do not want to miss. As usual, it will be held at Oakmont Green in Hampstead, Maryland, just twenty minutes north of Baltimore. For optimum fun, we will be going with the Florida Scramble Format, where the best tee shot is selected and everyone plays their own ball from the selected tee shot. The best two scores per hole are counted to determine the team score. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, a hole-in-one prize, and more! Online registration will be up soon, so check back. Maryland 4-H Day will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at Oriole Park, Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. Come join us as we watch the Baltimore Orioles take on the Tampa Bay Rays! We've got a hold on an entire section and we'll all have matching shirts. A portion of every ticket sold benefits the Maryland 4-H Foundation.

The 17th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament is happening Saturday, March 31, 2012. The tournament will take place over on the Eastern Shore at Schrader’s in Henderson, Maryland. There will be Lewis classes, youth awards, door prizes, and a drawing for a berretta shotgun! The tournament will include a 50 target shoot benefitting Maryland 4-H shooting sports programs. Registration begins at 9:00am, the first shoot begins at 9:30am, and lunch will be served at 11:30am. To register, print out the registration form and send it to the address listed on the form. The tournament is also offering an opportunity for sponsorship.
