Environmental, Mechanical & Engineering Science Funding Opportunities

Maryland 4-H Science, Engineering, Technology (SET) Program. The Maryland 4-H Program has set the goal to reach 10,000 new Maryland Youth through a Science, Engineering, and Technology 4-H program. Help us support our Maryland youth in developing the future workforce.

  • E.K. & N.S. Bender Endowment - serves to enhance youth development through the Maryland 4-H Horticulture Program
  • Fairview Farm Endowment - Supports young people participating in the Maryland 4-H Engineering Science Program
  • Sherard Wilson - Supports programs in the area of environmental sciences. Currently 8 of Sherard’s photographs are on sale for $100 each to boost the environmental science program. (See Wilson Flyer)
  • Irene Gerst Porter Horticulture Scholarship - Funds 4-Hers interested in a career in Horticulture.
  • Western Maryland 4-H Center - Supports the continued improvements, 4-H programs, camps, events, and activities held at the Western Maryland 4-H Center.
  • Maryland 4-H Shooting Sports Endowment - Supports the program building and national trips for youth in shooting sports project
  • Clark Camp Fund - Baltimore City youth scholarship to attend campCurrent Fundraisers

Maryland 4-H Foundation

The Maryland 4-H Foundation was founded in 1959 with the purpose of supporting national trips, Maryland state 4-H events, Maryland county grants and programs, awards and scholarships, and program endowments. Some of these Maryland 4-H programs include National 4-H Congress and Conference, Animal Science Judging Trips, the State Diamond Clover Program, the Berlage Innovative Grants Program and more.
